Bible Verses about Sexual Sin

God is the Creator of sex. Man did not create sex. God created sex for pleasure and also for procreation. But God also in His word set rules and limits regarding sexual relationships and sexual activities. When we disobey God’s rules and limits, we enter into sexual sin or sexual immorality, for example adultery, fornication, etc.
However for all sin, God offers forgiveness and a way of escape through His Son Jesus. If you are currently struggling with overcoming temptation in general, you can read here … How To Resist Temptation and also God’s View of Sexuality.

1 Corinthians 6:15–16
Don’t you realize that your bodies are actually parts of Christ? Should a man take his body, which is part of Christ, and join it to a prostitute? Never! Ephesians 5:3-5
“But sexual immorality and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God

1 Thessalonians 4:3-5
