Bible Verses about the Kingdom of God

It is important to remember that we will not live on this earth forever. We have mortal bodies which will soon die. It is also important to remember that two main kingdoms that are at war with each other: The Kingdom of God versus the kingdom of darkness.
When Jesus was on earth, many times He mentioned issues related to the Kingdom of God. As Christians we must always be heavenly minded and not conform to the standards of this world. Below are some verses about the Kingdom of God. Let us meditate on them

John 3:3 ESV
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Matthew 6:19-21 ESV
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:33 ESV
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 5:10 ESV
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:3 ESV
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Romans 14:17 ESV
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Luke 21:27-31 ESV
