Why is Disney Grooming Children into LGBTQ Ideology?

Disney was once a company which was exclusively known for producing innocent, family-friendly entertainment. As a parent there was once a time when you could allow your child to watch a Disney cartoon or movie and not be concerned that your child might be sexualized or morally corrupted by their content.
However for several years Disney’s agenda has clearly changed as revealed by a leaked video of a Disney staff meeting which was obtained and posted to social media by journalist Christopher F. Rufo in March 2022 .
For example, during the leaked video an executive producer at the Walt Disney Company claims the company’s leadership has been welcoming to her “not-at-all-secret gay agenda”.
In another leaked video a Disney employee is seen stating that “as the mother [of] one transgender child and one pansexual child,” she supports having “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories”
These leaked videos posted reveal something that many parents of young children have come to realize over the last couple of years – the Disney corporate leadership is dedicated to promoting the LGBTQ agenda and indoctrinating its young viewers.

From a Christian viewpoint, the leaked videos reveal Disney’s LGBTQ agenda to be as follows:

• Indoctrinate children into accepting and even practice homosexuality and transgenderism at an early age.
• To desensitize children all over the world into normalizing LGBTQ values and sexuality as an acceptable lifestyle and culture
• To usurp the authority of parents in the home and influence the lives of children to accept LGBTQ ideology at an early age
• To introduce age-inappropriate content by having many LGBTQIA characters and storylines that promote LGBTQ ideology and activism
• To eliminate all mentions of “ladies,” “gentlemen,” “boys,” and “girls” in its theme parks and content

However many questions arise pertaining to Disney’s LGBT activism. For example: Why is Disney, a company once focused on age appropriate content so focused on LGBTQ activism? Why is the company focused on indoctrinating young children with such sexual and gender issues which are age inappropriate? What does Disney gain by grooming children into LGBTQ ideology and sexuality? Should children be exposed to age inappropriate discussions and content? What does the Bible say about LGBTQ ideology and activism?

The War Between Cultures & The Battle for the Mind

It’s important to understand that Disney is not the only entertainment company within the industry that is promoting LGBTQ ideology. Instead the majority of the entertainment industry is on the unfortunate path of indoctrinating its viewers of all ages with LGBTQ values. For example, many popular TV shows and movies will feature at least one major character who represents the LGTBQ community, and this character will present the LGBTQ lifestyle as supposedly normal and morally acceptable.
Furthermore LGBT values are not the only issues that the entertainment industry wants to indoctrinate people – but there are many other issues which are godless and satanic in nature that are promoted by both the film and music industry.
The music industry, the film industry and the entire media is one of the fastest ways to change people’s mindsets on a massive scale. The media has enormous power to persuade and change perceptions and even cultures.

Therefore there is a war of cultures and principles taking place in the world. It is a war to win the minds of people, especially young people. It is a war between different ideologies and doctrines. It is a war of one cultural system versus another cultural system. It is a war of one spiritual value system versus a different spiritual value system.

Ephesians 6:12 says: For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Therefore the battle is spiritual in its origin. The battle exists because of man’s sinful and fallen nature (Romans 3:23). The battle exists because man is in rebellion against God.
In the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah, homosexuality and all forms of LGBTQ ideology existed to the extent that God had to completely destroy the cities because of their wickedness and sexual sins (Genesis 18:20-33, Genesis 19:1-29).

Why is the Entertainment Industry Grooming & Targeting Children with LGBTQ Ideology?

In this spiritual battle the minds of children are specifically targeted for the following reasons:

• the agenda is to indoctrinate the next generation; the aim is to get them young;
• the agenda is to desensitize children so that they won’t fight LGBTQ value systems when they grow older;
• the aim is to normalize LGBTQ ideology in the eyes of the youth;
• the agenda is to increase the LGBTQ population in the future by targeting the next generation.

Children are the next generation. By targeting children, the idea is to influence the next generation into normalizing LGBTQ ideology and lifestyles in a world that currently has a large population of culturally conservative people who still resist homosexuality.

What does the Bible say about LGBTQ ideology and activism?

LGBTQ ideology is in complete contrast and opposition to the teachings of the Bible.
In Mark 10:6-9, Jesus Himself addresses the entire LGBTQ ideology in relation to gender identity, marriage and sexuality.

In Mark 10:6-9 Jesus says:“But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ 7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

On the issue of gender identity, Jesus is saying that there are only two genders – male and female.
On the issue of marriage, Jesus is saying that marriage is exclusively between a male and female. Christ is also saying that in marriage only a male and female can become one flesh. (Read: What Did Jesus Say About Transgenders & Gay Marriage?)

1 Corinthians 6:9 says: Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality

Deuteronomy 22:5 says: A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

Romans 1:26-27 says: For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Conclusion
Parents should ensure that they protect their children from being exposed to sexualized and age-inappropriate content or discussions.
Through the film and music industry the devil is able to bring the battle for our minds into our family and homes through the television, through our laptops, through our cellphones or through any media that can stream ungodly content that is likely to corrupt our children.
The devil is consistently targeting the next generation with immorality in the spiritual battle between good and evil.

Isaiah 5:20 says: Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; Who put darkness for light and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

We live in a world where a culture and lifestyle once detested is being promoted and celebrated as being good and righteous. However, God’s word does not change; God’s values do not change.
We are called and created to worship Him and obey Him in every area of our life. We must therefore be discerning and not be ignorant of the tricks of the devil.
