Do Aliens Exist? Are We Alone in the Universe?

Do aliens really exist? Is it possible that extraterrestrial life exists somewhere in the universe?
Evolutionists are more likely to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life due to the evolution theory that all life evolves.
Therefore, the reasoning of any evolutionist would be that if life evolved on the earth, then it’s probable that life may have evolved in other places or planets in the universe.
Even atheist scientists like the late Stephen Hawking believed in the existence of aliens. He apparently warned about the dangers of mankind encountering alien civilizations. Hawking suggested that if an advanced alien civilization were to come to Earth, then “such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they could reach”.

According to an article on the belief of alien life, it is reported that a survey done in 24 countries reveals that at least 50-61 percent of humans believe that some form of life exists outside of Earth, or that intelligent alien civilizations exist somewhere in the universe.

However, is there actual evidence that aliens exist? Can scientists conclusively prove that we are not alone in the universe?
Organizations such as NASA have spent billions of dollars researching the universe, yet to this day there is no evidence that extraterrestrial life exists. Despite the use of the most advanced technology being used to observe the universe, scientists can only speculate, but they cannot prove if aliens exist or not.

What Does the Bible Say About Aliens?
However, what does the Bible say about aliens? The truth is, the Bible gives us no reason to believe in extraterrestrial life. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1:1).
In Genesis, chapters 1 & 2, the Bible clearly tells us that at the beginning of time, God created the universe including the Earth.
According to the scriptures, life was created on the Earth but there is no evidence in the Bible that life was also created in other planets or parts of the universe.
There is also no evidence from the Scriptures of another planet that is perfectly suitable to sustain life.
Yes, there may be planets that have been discovered by astronomers as being “Earth-like” – however, do these particular “Earth-like” planets have life actually existing on them? Currently there is no scientific evidence of other planets that inhabit life.
So far, it can be concluded that there is no Earth-like planet discovered in the universe that has any habitation of life, besides our own planet.
If God wanted us to know that extraterrestrial life existed somewhere in the universe, then He would have mentioned it in the Scriptures. The Bible mentions intelligent spiritual beings such as angels and demons. It also mentions that there is a spiritual realm – however, it does not mention the existence of physical aliens existing in the universe.

What About Sightings of Aliens or UFOs?
How do we explain supposed alien sightings by people? Since the Bible does not mention the existence of aliens, there is a Biblical explanation for the sightings of supposed aliens.
Genesis 6:4 gives an account of fallen angels or “sons of God” who came to earth to have sexual intercourse with human women in order to give birth to the Nephilim, which was a hybrid race. The Nephilim have been described as being a race of giants and they had a mixture of both human and demonic DNA.
Therefore the alleged physical sighting of aliens may actually be demonic beings disguised as extraterrestrials.
It is believed that alien deception will play a major part in relation to a worldwide human deception in the end times.
In Matthew 24:37, Jesus says: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
This can be interpreted to mean that just as fallen angels and the Nephilim made themselves visible during the days of Noah in Genesis 6, then it is possible that fallen angels and the Nephilim will attempt to physically re-emerge in the last days before the return of Jesus Christ.

However, if demons manifest as aliens, it’s important to remember that these demons are created creatures and they mostly exist in the spiritual realm which God also created.
It is also important to realize that God is the Creator of all things – both the seen and the unseen (Hebrews 11:3).
All of creation in the entire universe exists because of God, and all creation ultimately submits to the Lordship and authority of God (John 1:3; Revelation 4:11).

Of all the things that God created, mankind is the only creation that was created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27).
Our role as mankind is to submit to God as our Creator and to totally trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour because without Christ in our lives, we cannot experience forgiveness for our sins and neither can we enter into an eternal relationship with God.
